Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing children and young adults explore and pursue their dreams. Stage Scene & Song Performing Arts is committed to allowing children to explore all the creative and practical facets of the theater and performance industry, wherein they can thrive by the virtues of their individual talents, develop leadership skills, experience the thrill of achievement, and have the confidence to know that, with respect and collaboration, they can create living art from nothing.
The Performing Arts is one of the most creative and collaborative endeavors a person can take part in. It is the perfect playground to inspire individuality and self-worth in youngsters while still fostering a mutual respect for peers, a tremendous sense of community and camaraderie, and an appreciation for contribution. Stage Scene & Song's founders, Ellyn Essig, Argine Safari, and Frank Avellino, have a long history of working with young people who have gone on to successful careers on the stages of NYC, Philadelphia, and Boston, from regional theaters to Broadway. Their combined talents and dedication provide a tremendous force which can inspire your child to find his or her place and secure their dreams.
Stage Scene & Song Performing Arts is a 501(c)(3) non profit company.
"Frank Avellino directed the production of Sweeney Todd that made me want to be an actor when I was 15. It changed my life. So I was thrilled to find out, upon working with him, that he is one of the most insightful, passionate, nurturing, supportive, and intelligent professional artists out there."
